Staff composition

The Information Technology Centre (CIT) provides background to all ICT processes and networks at the faculty and administers the faculty’s website. At the same time, it provides technical hardware- and software-related support and advice to all faculty employees and students.

In terms of hardware and software, it also ensures the smooth running of online classes, faculty meetings, conferences or graduation or matriculation ceremonies. It provides advice to academic staff related to the preparation of study materials, and contributes to the creation of multimedia study materials and faculty presentations. The CIT is also fully responsible for the operation of the Moodle e-learning system.

The CIT also takes care of all faculty teaching equipment; in addition to the standard AV technology, this includes, for example, simulators, specialised instruments or a virtual autopsy table. CIT staff members know how to control and prepare the instruments for use in classes and provide the instructors with all technical support necessary.

The CIT’s other tasks include keeping records of assets, or assisting in the preparation of public ICT contracts.
