Grants and projects

As for grant activities, specific FZS workplaces (departments and laboratories) primarily focus on sectoral research grants posted by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. In cooperation with Krajská zdravotní, a.s. (lead researcher Prof. MUDr. Martin Sameš, CSc., FZS researcher RNDr. Karel Hrach, Ph.D.) projects No. NT13883-4_2012 „Correlation of parameters of multimodal monitoring of secondary brain injury and its treatment in patients with craniocerebral injury and subarachnoid haemorrhage“ (2012-2015) and No. NT14448-3/2013 „Changes in fractional anisotropy, average diffusivity and volumetric values in patients with normotensive hydrocephalus“ (2013-2015) have already been completed.

The FZS is also a partner under the ROP NUTS II Northwest project entitled „Innovation and replacement of imaging technology at Krajská zdravotní, a.s.“ (2013-2021); for more information on the project see here.

Project submissions are governed by Rector Guideline No. 4/2016 on project management and financing.
