Conference 2021
The topics covered by the conference reflect the current state-of-the-art in health sciences, namely the non-medical health disciplines covered by the FZS: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Midwifery, General Nursing, Paramedics, other specific disciplines.
The conference is intended for academics and practitioners in the field of health or social care and students of non-medical health disciplines.
Section A
NEW TRENDS IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND PHYSIOTHERAPY
The section primarily focuses on the diagnostics of musculoskeletal disorders using biomechanical instrumental methods, physiotherapeutic and occupational therapy tests, techniques and procedures, and on the potentials for evaluation and subsequent intervention.

NEW TRENDS IN NURSING
The section focuses on the application of new knowledge and practices in nursing, education in non-medical professions, the environment in clinical practice, research and evidence-based practice. The intention is to stress the importance of linking clinical practice in all fields to theoretical expertise, which is a necessary prerequisite for the further development of nursing as a discipline.

NEW TRENDS IN MIDWIFERY AND SPECIFIC DISCIPLINES
The section focuses on research, ethical issues and the quality of care in the area of midwifery, new knowledge in the field based on Evidence Based Midwifery clinical practice, and development of new assessment techniques and approaches in midwifery. The intention is to develop and obtain new experience, skills and knowledge in midwifery as means of further development of midwifery as a profession and as a discipline. The section also focuses on other specific disciplines.

The section focuses on innovations in technical and non-technical skills of paramedics in pre-hospital emergency care, at E.R. and intensive care units.
