Wyższa Szkoła Planowania Strategicznego w Dąbrowie Górniczej

The College of Strategic Planning in Dąbrowa Górnicza is a private university operating since 2004. The university educates students in first-cycle studies in the following fields: nursing, emergency medical services and in second-cycle studies in nursing and public health. In addition to first and second cycle studies, there are also courses, trainings, postgraduate studies and postgraduate education for nurses and midwives. WSPS was the first non-public medical university in southern Poland. From the very beginning, it has been adapting its educational offer to the requirements and needs of the labor market. Curricula are developed in accordance with the requirements of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, and lectures are conducted by eminent specialists and lecturers from Poland and abroad. In 2012, the Medical Rescue study program was awarded in the competition for the best study programs, adapted to the requirements of the National Qualifications Framework, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The aim of the University’s activity is to educate students who, in addition to thorough theoretical knowledge, also acquire practical skills that allow them to work in various sectors of economic and social life, in line with the expectations of employers. It should be emphasized that the fields of study provided by the University have a practical profile, thanks to which graduates find it easier to find themselves in the increasingly demanding labor market. WSPS ranked first in Poland in terms of the number of educated nurses and midwives in the field of bridge (undergraduate) studies. The College of Strategic Planning has two modern medical simulation centers in its structure, where students of nursing and medical emergency can undergo practical training in conditions of high fidelity. The College of Strategic Planning has faculties in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Piotrków Trybunalski and Jarocin. In the 2019/2020 academic year, more than 3,000 students study at all faculties in nursing, emergency medical services and public health.

Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem – Faculty of Health Studies
The Faculty of Health Studies (FHS) offers bachelor’s and follow-up master’s studies. For bachelor’s studies, applicants can choose between the study programs Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Pediatric Nursing, Midwifery, General Nursing and Ambulance. Follow-up master’s studies can be completed in the programs Organization and Development of Medical Facilities and Teaching of Specialized Subjects for Medical Schools. FHS is an active developing part of UJEP. The establishment of the faculty was conditioned by new branch requirements for education, connected with the accession of the Czech Republic to the EU and the requirements of medical workplaces in the region. Tertiary education continuously follows the concepts of the educational process of medical disciplines. It enables gaining the ability to perform non-medical health professions and perform activities with the provision of health care. In the field of science and research, individual departments focus on issues given by their specific fields of education, specifically all theoretical and clinical medical and nursing fields. Creative activity is also implemented at the clinics of FHS UJEP and Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem, as well as in two faculty laboratories. FHS is located in a building at Velká Hradební 13, Ústí nad Labem. At the present, there are also faculty teaching spaces in the nearby Velká Hradební 15 building. In 2020, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of new faculty buildings on the premises of the Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem.
Prešovská Univerzita v Prešove – Faculty of Health Care

Faculty of Health Care is one of eight faculties of the University of Presov – regional university, which offers education in the arts, philosophy, ethics, languages, human and natural sciences, pedagogy, theology, management, sports and health care in bachelor, master and PhD. study programs. Faculty consists of six departments and offers study programs in nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, dental hygiene and urgent health care, radiology and medical diagnostic and treatment technology in bachelor, master and PhD. degree. Nursing education at PU has 16 years long history. Nursing study program is fully compatible with EU standards for education of nurses e.g. 4600 hours, 51% practical training and is fully accredited by Slovak Ministry of Education. One of the priorities of the faculty is tight connection with the practice. Faculty closely cooperates with the Faculty hospital in Presov and community health service facilities. The Faculty has been actively involved in variety of project at both national and international level. Its activity is also oriented on modernisation of education, implementation of technologies in education. Building the electronic platform for courses we try to foster students’ mobility and to internationalise our education. The faculty is involved in both, formal and informal education od students and graduates in practice. The mission of the University of Presov, Faculty of Health care is to develop a harmonious personality, knowledge, wisdom, goodness and creativity in man and to contribute to development of education, science, culture and health for the welfare of the whole society. The faculty fulfils its mission by educating professionals with high moral principles, civil and social responsibility, by taking active part in research and its transfer into the educational activities, cooperating with VET and other institutions offering health care in Slovakia and abroad, providing training and workshops to nursing staff at practice. The faculty develops international cooperation also by promoting the joint projects with higher education institutions abroad and other foreign institutions, exchange of academic staff and students and recognition of studies. The faculty cooperates with the municipality, non-governmental organisation, professional chambers, organisers competitions for professionals and promotes the mission and work of the health-care givers. Presov University has experience in research and with other interinstitutional projects abroad. They have significant knowledge in the clinical field and in increasing the level of education. Students are trained in their own university hospital.
